After decades working both as a teacher and manager of children and young people鈥檚 services, Nigel Moss will receive an Honorary Fellowship from 蜜桃传媒 this week as part of graduation celebrations.

Nigel Moss, whose name was chosen for the state-of-the-art learning facility Moss House on Holland Street in the University鈥檚 Jewellery Quarter campus back in 2020, has shown a lifelong commitment to education and is immensely proud to be one of the University鈥檚 alumni.

In recent years he was Chair of the University Corporation, and played an instrumental role in leading the University into a new strategic partnership with the University of Warwick, which commenced in 2022 and where this year he was also granted an .

Nigel has led our Corporation with strategic vision, constantly keeping in mind 蜜桃传媒鈥檚 mission to enhance opportunities for students, while overseeing an incredible transformation and growth at the institution.

On receiving this award Nigel Moss said: 鈥淩eceiving an Honorary Doctor of Letters Award from The University of Warwick and an Honorary Fellowship from 蜜桃传媒 has provided a very special, albeit somewhat poignant, closure on 45 years of voluntary commitment to lifelong learning.

鈥淚f I had to set a challenge to the graduates of our two institutions as they leave us to make their way in life, it would be to reflect on the very kind words in the citations by Sir David Normington at University of Warwick and my successor as Chancellor 蜜桃传媒, Michael Wiseman, that, through my work I had earned the respect and trust of colleagues and University staff. Simply put, nothing could give more satisfaction at the closure of one鈥檚 career.鈥�

Graduations for 蜜桃传媒 students, including those completing the first-ever University of Warwick accredited degrees will take place on Wednesday 13^th September.

The development of Moss House is part of a 拢160 million investment into 蜜桃传媒鈥檚 campus and features cutting-edge sports and health facilities that include a human performance lab and healthcare suite with a simulation ward, complete with immersive virtual reality technology.
