蜜桃传媒 is not only celebrating a jump in its overall satisfaction score in the , but six courses receiving a full house.
The University scored 84% overall in the survey in line with the national average at a time when a number of highly-ranked institutions saw large falls in their ratings.
鲍颁叠鈥檚 Childhood Studies, Health and Social Care, Youth, Community and Families*, Food and Nutrition*, Sport and Fitness Studies* and Beauty Therapy Management bachelor鈥檚 or foundation degrees all received an overall satisfaction score of 100%.
Scoring 90% or more were Hospitality and Tourism Management, Hospitality with Events Management, Marketing with Events Management, Sports Management, Bakery and Patisserie Technology, Food Development and Innovation, Professional Cookery*, Childhood Studies*, Food and Nutrition and Sports Therapy.
With 27 questions in total, UCB scored 鈥渟ignificantly above鈥� the national benchmark when it came to the statement, 鈥淚 have received sufficient advice and guidance in relation to my course鈥�.
In addition, 88% of UCB students who took part agreed with, 鈥淪taff are good at explaining things鈥� in the teaching section and 86% agreed with, 鈥淚 have been able to contact staff when I needed to鈥� under academic support.
Alex Lofthouse, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) for UCB, said: 鈥�71% of 鲍颁叠鈥檚 eligible students completed the survey this year and we were thrilled to see such a high level of satisfaction in so many areas.
鈥淚n particular, six courses couldn鈥檛 have fared any better, scoring 100%, which is fantastic, and we hope our results provide the information prospective students and stakeholders need to support 鲍颁叠鈥檚 high-quality university experience.鈥�
Around 330,000 students at 400 universities, colleges and other providers completed the 2019 National Student Survey, about 10,000 responses higher than last year and representing 72% of those eligible to complete the survey.
UCB raised nearly 拢2,000 for Student Minds through this year鈥檚 survey, organised by the Office for Students (OfS), with the University making a 拢2 donation to the UK charity for every response received.
Fifteen lucky UCB students also won either 拢250 or 拢500 for taking part in the survey.
