Partnership expands University鈥檚 global reach

蜜桃传媒 has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sichuan Normal University (SICNU), strengthening the ties between the two institutions and fostering a new partnership that will see students and academics benefit.聽

The MoU signing also saw an enterprising discussion around student exchange programmes and further collaboration that will enrich students and faculty alike, as well as drive innovation and collaboration between the universities.聽

In a heartfelt gesture of cultural exchange and cooperation, Sichuan University gave the University a stunning piece of hand-embroidered panda wall art. This exquisite artwork not only showcases the fine craftsmanship and artistic traditions of Sichuan, the home of the giant panda, but also symbolises the deepening bond between the two institutions.

In return, 蜜桃传媒 gifted Sichuan University a silver bull souvenir engraved with 蜜桃传媒, which is a fitting symbol of the city and our institution located in the Jewellery Quarter, which stands as a testament to the mutual respect and the robust collaboration between the universities.

Dr David Paulson, Executive Dean of the Business School at 蜜桃传媒 said: 鈥淚t was a great privilege for us to host Professor Haidong Zhang and his senior colleagues from Sichuan Normal University (SICNU) at 蜜桃传媒, following our initial meeting with them in Chengdu in March. It is clear that SICNU is an extremely impressive institution, and we are looking forward to collaborating with our colleagues there in the provision of innovative solutions for Chinese and UK students at various stages of their career.鈥�

Professor Haidong Zhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Sichuan Normal University, said: 鈥淭he signing of this MoU will enhance the talent exchange between Sichuan Normal University and 蜜桃传媒, furthering the academic excellence and student exchange between the two universities. We look forward to working together and seeing the fruits of our endeavours."

Professor Haidong Zhang added: "I would also like to extend a warm welcome to our friends from 蜜桃传媒 to come to our university to experience the bustling developments across China and the beauty of Chinese culture, and to deepen our mutual understanding and friendship. In October 2024, our university will hold the Third International Education Exchange event, and I would like to invite 蜜桃传媒 to come and visit us. Hope to meet you again in Chengdu.鈥�
