Lewis Walker, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s head of the college of food, praised the efforts of all involved: "We are proud to partner with Acorns for this event, which not only showcases the exceptional talents of our students and chefs, but also helps support a cause that is close to our hearts.
"The £27,000 raised will go directly to Acorns, aiding them in their mission to provide care and support to life-limited children and their families."
Daniel Horsley, a first year student on the Culinary Arts Management degree said: “After only starting three weeks ago, I was nervous to be introduced to celebrity chefs, but it was an amazing experience where I was able to do service and prep on multiple dishes thanks to the skills I've learnt at university.
"It will stick with me going forward during my time at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, and in my career."

This year’s event follows the success of last year’s dinner, which raised £15,000. The partnership between ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and Acorns continues to strengthen, with both organisations remaining committed to improving the lives of local children and their families through these vital fundraising efforts.
