蜜桃传媒 is working with Schwarzkopf to give nine students the opportunity to work alongside top stylists in the Schwarzkopf salon in London next year.聽

For the next nine months, 12 students from UCB鈥檚 Hair and Beauty programmes will be selected as 鈥榮tudents of the month鈥. One of these selected students will then win the Dream Maker Award and attend a bespoke training day in the Schwarzkopf Academy in London.聽

The first Dream Maker Award winner is Jemma Cashmore, who is doing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Hairdressing.聽

鈥淚 can鈥檛 believe that I have been given this great opportunity,鈥 said Jemma. 鈥淚鈥檓 shocked to have won, but I鈥檓 also really pleased. I enjoy colouring techniques, so I鈥檓 particularly looking forward to creating lots of different looks and styles at the Schwarzkopf salon.鈥澛

Carol Moore, Senior Curriculum Leader at UCB, said: 鈥淚 approached Schwarzkopf six months ago to look at the prospects of using their Free From Essensity hair colour range.聽

鈥淎s a result of that, Derek Wall and I have been working on the Dream Maker Awards so our students could attend the Schwarzkopf Academy in London to take part in a portfolio聽photo-shoot to create a collection of their work. All students nominated receive a Schwarzkopf goody bag and certificate to show our appreciation of all their hard work and effort.鈥澛

Derek Wall, Sales Area Manager at Schwarzkopf, said: 鈥淲e have collaborated with 蜜桃传媒 to produce a bespoke design programme that encourages students to both aspire and inspire with their salon techniques. I believe that when people go into a salon they have a dream of what they want to look like, and stylists are there to make that dream come true. This unique opportunity will enable students to increase their skills whilst getting some fantastic experience in an exciting salon atmosphere.鈥澛

The Dream Maker Awards will be taking place each month, and students are already excited and looking forward the challenge of becoming the next Schwarzkopf Dream Maker.
