I teach on our Beauty Therapy Level 2 and 3 courses with a background in hands-on salon experience and running my own beauty business. My professional experiences have given me a solid, practical understanding of how the industry works - from client care to treatments to business management.
I鈥檝e worked in luxury spas and salons, such as Saks Hair & Beauty and Hyatt Regency Hotel, and as a Senior Therapist and Assistant Spa Manager for Royal Caribbean. I also worked as an in-flight beauty therapist for Virgin Atlantic before moving into teaching. While completing my teaching qualification, I established and ran a successful high street salon. Of course, I bring all of my insights from my time in industry directly into my classroom.聽
I continue to stay up to date with trends and actively engage with employers to help shape the curriculum. I recently organised industry visits for my students to The Belfry Spa Hotel and a luxury cruise spa with The London Wellness Academy. I鈥檓 constantly inspired by watching my students grow in confidence and seeing them develop into skilled, professional therapists. 聽
