Thriving at the top table
Jessica loved the idea of studying mixology, so after seeing the course on offer at 蜜桃传媒 she jumped at the opportunity to learn a trade that aligned with her passion for food and drink.
Since beginning her studies Jessica has thrived, and has even been part of a team that brought home gold and silver medals from the prestigious Salon Culinaire competition.
鈥淢y studies taught me so much about the way restaurants operate, and the attention to detail needed to succeed in the industry,鈥� she said.
鈥淒uring the competition my lecturers helped a lot with my nerves. I wouldn鈥檛 have been able to do it without them.鈥�
The chance to go on placement during her studies was another big draw for Jessica, as she looks to build on her successes so far.
鈥淚 already had the opportunity to work for a day in The Wilderness which was an amazing experience, and I鈥檓 hoping to secure a place with a Michelin-starred restaurant or high-end cocktail bar,鈥� she said.
Looking to the future, she is considering moving on to university study in order to achieve her dreams.
鈥淢y ultimate goal is to open my own restaurant. I wouldn鈥檛 have even dreamt this was possible without my time at the college of food.鈥�
