Lauren Pryer

Aesthetic Practitioner BA (Hons)

High brow business

Lauren graduated with a first-class degree in 2022, but the support she received from the University didn鈥檛 end there.

Through the Creative Futures Incubator, a collaboration between 蜜桃传媒 and the University of Warwick, Lauren received business coaching, a digital enterprise course and online seminars on planning, strategy and marketing techniques to get her own venture underway.

She also received a grant of 拢2,000, to set up microblading clinic in her hometown of Solihull.

Lauren went on to train with microblader Kallinika Aynsley 鈥 whose work has been featured in Harper鈥檚 Bazaar 鈥 and did placements at two highly-regarded aesthetic clinics, supporting with treatments mainly focusing on skin rejuvenation and scarring during her degree.

Having her own business is a dream come true. 鈥淗aving had experience in a few aesthetic clinics, I realised that having my own clinic with an outstanding level of customer service was my goal,鈥 she said.

鈥淭hrough the incubator, I鈥檝e learned different marketing techniques to help grow my business and widen my treatment menu.

鈥淓ventually, I would like to branch out and employ staff.鈥
