Leading the way in aerospace聽

As a business leadership graduate for Collins Aerospace, Samuel is flying the flag for industry improvement 鈥� and it all started at 蜜桃传媒.聽聽

Graduating with a first-class degree in Aviation and Airport Management in 2019, Samuel is now also a continuous improvement associate for the company, one of the world's leading providers of aerospace systems and services for commercial aircraft and part of Raytheon Technologies based in Wolverhampton.聽聽

Career highlights include working with the world鈥檚 largest aerospace companies, including Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed and Irkut, with an ambition to work in the aftermarket division on the likes of British Airways and Singapore Airlines鈥� A380 and A350 programmes and the company鈥檚 US-based cockpit and flight controls division.

He said the 鈥渦niqueness鈥� of his degree had set him apart.聽鈥淭he modules were varied and there is a genuine correlation between what you study and real-life working,鈥� said Samuel, who will undergo six placements across different areas of the business as part of the graduate scheme, which he can tailor to fit his development plan.聽

鈥淢illions of dollars could be on the line and learning time-management is a must. 鈥淭he international trips were great for adding another twist to assignments.聽

鈥淭he university campus is modern with a community feel, and despite being a 鈥榮maller鈥� university, the teaching is of such a high quality. And the lecturers are approachable, offering support where needed.聽

鈥淟ocation wise, it鈥檚 spot-on, with plenty of opportunities in and around Birmingham and the West Midlands.聽

鈥淚f you are considering taking this course, I鈥檇 say, go for it. You have nothing to lose, but an awful lot to gain. And don鈥檛 think there鈥檚 only airlines and airports聽to work at 鈥� it doesn鈥檛 stop there.鈥澛�
